With around 120 lawyers and 12 Partners, the key areas of expertise of the Clifford Chance Luxembourg office include: Banking, Finance and  Capital Markets, Corporate – M&A, Investment Funds, Tax, Litigation and Real Estate.

Our Corporate department advises major domestic and international companies, and private equity houses on public and private M&A, disposals, demergers, joint ventures, restructurings, corporate governance and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on complex cross-border transactions.

In the context of the continuous development of our activities and to provide support to our lawyers, we are recruiting a:

Stagiaire PPI/Elève avocat (M/F)

Duration: 6-month internship covered by an EFB internship agreement
Hours: 40 hours per week

What will you do?

Some of the various responsibilities during your internship will include:

  • Assisting lawyers regarding group restructuring and refinancing, private equity and real estate transactions as well as merger and acquisitions;
  • Assisting in preparation of various agreements and issuing legal opinions and memorandum regarding international transactions;
  • Drafting and reviewing corporate documents and contracts;
  • Conducting legal research;
  • Updating internal templates.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking talented candidates with a strong academic background looking for an internship as part of their qualification route (Ecole de Formation au Barreau).

  • You hold a Master’s degree in law;
  • You have performed one or several internships, ideally in international law firms;
  • You have a perfect command of English and French, both written and spoken (German and/or Luxembourgish are considered strong asset);
  • You demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills along with excellent drafting skills;
  • You are open-minded and are able to show team spirit, commitment to quality service as well as the ability to adapt easily.
